Estar vs Hay (The Subtle Differences)


* "Hay" is close to "There is / There are"


(estoy / estás / está / estámos / estáis / están)

* When you want to say certain thing, then you have to put "a" in front of the noun.


Example 

- Hay alguna cafeteria cerca de aqui?
- Hay un perro en la habiatacion
- Hay coches en el aprcamiento


Vocab

cerca de = nearby
camarero = waiter
al lado de, junto a  = next to
correos = post office
sobre = on
